How do you relax?
For me it’s a difficult task. My mind is always racing and when I’m at home inevitably there are a million things that need doing.
You can appear to be relaxing but mentally there’s lists of things in your head that need to be done.
Many of which have become more urgent from procrastination.
When you are your own harshest critic there is no give.
So for me being with friends is relaxing.
It’s times when I’m completely and utterly in the moment.
When from sharing those annoying moments you realise that you are not the only one who puts things off.
That actually those thoughts that keep you awake at night are normal, everyone has them.
That your life is just as imperfect as everyone else’s and this is not a failure it’s life.
