I’m not a fan of the winter. Dark, damp I hate feeling cold.

You also feel less motivated to do stuff when it’s cold. No energy, lethargic and heavy.

Even the simplistic of tasks are hard work.

Without doubt I love the sun. Not too hot mind, so it zaps you but the sun.

When it’s warm on your skin, you have a spring in your step and want to do stuff.

Achieve things.

I love the sun also for the days when I can’t be bothered to achieve anything. When I just want to sit with my legs up the freckles gathering on my skin and read my book with a glass of rose.

When the nights are longer and you can sit and listen to the hum of the insects starting their day as you finish yours.

When flowers are in full bloom and everything looks shiny and new.
