Im a ´doer’ and I’ve checked that is a word.

I just get on with things rather than wait to be told.

Roll my sleeves up and crack on.

Sometimes in the time it takes to discuss reasons why, the task can be completed.

Ive never been afraid of hard work, its a good feeling when you’ve finished that task you’ve been thinking about or putting off for ages.

I can of course be guilty of procrastination like most, if you think hard enough there’s always a reason why not but I fight against it.

I think that’s why on those days when that dark cloud emerges, energy and motivation is low I feel worse.

I feel time is so precious I don’t want to waste a moment.

In those long past days when I managed large projects they’d be people talking talking but nobody actually doing.

I’d find it frustrating just get on with it.

Ok it might not strictly be your job, who cares just stop moaning and do it.

Now I have kids who love to procrastinate mainly by watching mind numbingly boring videos on their phones.

Pity them who have a mum like me 😏
