What was the best compliment you’ve received?
Sometimes if you are like me you bat away compliments.
It’s not that I disbelieve their sincerity simply I’m not used to receiving praise.
I’m not sure about the best but I was told recently that I was kind and thoughtful.
That I think means more than anything to know in some way you have helped and perhaps made just one person smile makes everything worth while.
I was told once and it stuck in my mind that you should always try and smile.
A smile is free yet could mean more to a person than you could ever imagine.
It could be the only smile, warmth they receive that day.
It’s worth smiling occasionally just for that.
