A cat

Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

In another time id be a cat.

Hopefully in a country that respects them and doesn’t eat them.

Cats are wildly independent, but they need love.

Naturally curious they love to explore yet need a place to call their own.

They can sleep anywhere, any table any chair much like me at times.

They love to sleep, be warm and curl up in a ball.

Despite this mostly relaxed attitude they have a fun side and can have a mental moment from time to time.

They can be mysterious and mischievous.

Cats are sleek ( which I’m not) light footed and able to get into any corner.

When you have the love of a cat they are devoted not in the dependant way a dog is because they can leave at anytime but they have chosen you.

12 years ago I gave up my career and moved to Luxembourg with my partner. It was only meant to be a temporary move but 12 years on, 3 jobs, 2 houses, 4 kids 2 cats and a dog we are still here. This is my story. What I have learnt in my 46 years, trails and tribulations with my kids, navigating language difficulties with stuff I like. Don’t judge me be kind.

    I love this!!!! I’d like to think I would be a cat also… you are completely right about the part though that a kitty will chose to stick with you NOT because they have to but because they want to. That’s the best feeling in the world! Thank you for sharing!
