Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
I don’t have a favourite pair of shoes. For a forty something year old woman I really don’t have that many.
I have some really nice high heels but after so many years in comfortable shoes they cripple me now.
One pair I’ve had for a very long time is my Ugg boots.
My in-laws lived in Australia and bought me a pair over when my first daughter was a baby so 15 years ago now!
I was delighted as they were all the rage then and they were ( and are) pretty expensive.
Although not the most flattering footwear they have worn me well.
Now demoted to slip on for a dog walk.
The soles are worn the material discoloured with flecks of paint where I wore them decorating once.
They have walked many miles with me, too many to be honest as they are really not good for my heal pain but so comfy.
And still have a few more miles left in them.
