I love animals always have. I feel we don’t treat them with the respect they deserve. It breaks my heart when you see how cruel animals are treated around the world.

I obviously love dogs and cats. Mine are just lovely. They live in harmony with us and despite at times being very annoying, walks, food and barking generally. They give so much love and teach my kids so much.

But I think my absolute favourite would have to be monkeys.

I’m always amazed by just how similar to humans they are. My particular favourite are orangutans.

Watching them,how they interact with each other, how they communicate and how they are we their young.

They share almost 95% of our genes. They are so intelligent but yet we still are so cruel to them. Destroying their homes, killing to steal their young.

And what for? Money.

Poverty drives people to do bad things to survive I know but it’s criminal that the innocent victims are plant eating animals with the IQ of a small child who wouldn’t intentionally hurt a fly.
