Disney films make me nostalgic remembering my small children transfixed watching Lady and the Tramp.

Lady and the Tramp was a favourite of mine and I was so pleased my children enjoyed the film as much as me.

I love in particular the older films where life seems less complicated, less harsh.

There was an innocence then it seems to be that time before technology took its hold on us.

I’ve a terrible memory and there are so many parts of my life that are hazy.

But certain smells, tastes places make me nostalgic.

Over the Christmas holidays I visited a pub near my childhood home. On walking in, I was taken back to a time when I was in there with my Nan, my first daughter and my niece as babies.

The feeling as I walked in took my breath away as although nothing had changed massively about the pub so much had changed for me.

I remember distinguishably everything about being there in a time when my life was simplistic.

Time when you don’t want it to goes so quickly.
