When they are not driving me mad my children are my favourite people.

Despite the odd hiccup they really are my greatest achievement so kind and thoughtful just lovely.

It does get harder with the dramas of teenagers but also it’s like gaining 4 new friends.

My eldest is 16 this year a wise head on young shoulders. Our relationship currently is strong I just hope that it stays like that.

Aside from family my oldest friends back in the UK are my favourite.

We are a delicious blend of imperfect people who try so hard to be better.

We have problems which we share, we dry our eyes from tears of laughter and sorry.

I love this bunch of girls who understand me without judgement. Who I feel so comfortable with to be myself.

As I grown older these girls have become more important to me than ever.

This year will be the first Christmas in I think 5 years I’ve been home.

I am so excited to see these girls I just love them so much.

They are my therapy.
